Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced HR Generalist / Benefits Coordinator to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role is essential for supporting various HR functions and ensuring that employee benefits are administered effectively. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and reliable individual with a passion for HR and employee welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related inquiries and benefits information.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR and benefits processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops for employees on various HR topics.
  • Support the HR team with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Required Work Hours

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
